The location of the school is in the heart of Havelock estate. It serves the immediate area as well as children from the catchment area of Ealing. (see our ‘contact us’ page to find us on a map).
Havelock Primary School educates children from 3-11 years old.
The school is made up of 14 classes and a maintained Nursery.
The classes are named after trees from all over the world:
Nursery: Forest and Ocean AM/Tree and Sea PM
Reception: Cedar and Ash
Year 1: Pine and Elm
Year 2: Sycamore and Oak
Year 3: Alder and Kowhai
Year 4: Baobab and Iroko
Year 5: Rimu and Willow
Year 6: Maple and Peepul
In addition to the conventional classrooms there are specialist rooms for Music and ICT, vibrant exciting school library, cookery base, three study bases, two assembly halls and a dining hall. Interactive white boards are in use in all classrooms. The school has two medical and welfare rooms/areas. The extensive playgrounds provide ample space for recreation and outdoor Physical Education including a nature area. The school site has two entrances for parents and carers to drop off and collect children safely.
Morning Nursery starts at: 8:30am to 11:30am
Afternoon Nursery starts at: 12:30pm to 3:30pm
School starts at: 8:55am to 3:20pm for Reception, Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
The school gates open at 8.45am. All children should be in school at least a few minutes before morning bell. Punctuality is very important. Registers are taken at the beginning of the morning and afternoon sessions. Children who are late must report to the school office to be registered.
