Clubs at Havelock

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is run by our P.E teacher every morning. Children are given a nutritious breakfast as well as a space to read books, carry out work and play different sport activities.

It runs from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 8:45 am and costs £2 per day. If you are interested in the breakfast club please ask for a letter or more information from the school office.

The club is very popular with the children as you can see from the comments below:

Abshrio:

“I enjoy breakfast club because all the activities we carry out makes my heart beat faster! It is a lot of fun. My friends and I look forward to coming to school early for the club. Also attending the club gets me fired up for learning.”

Ibrahim:

“The reason why I like breakfast is it helps me stay healthy and physically fit. I really enjoy the new skills I learn when playing various different games. Also, it carrying out the activities provides with the energy I need for the day ahead in school.”

After School Club

Havelock After School Club is a service run by school staff that provides high-quality out-of-school childcare for our families. Children are given fun and meaningful activities during the club.

After School Club operates between 3.20pm-4.30pm Monday to Friday except on staff training days, bank holidays, other unforeseen closures and during school holidays.

If you want your child to join our After School Club, contact our school office and they can sign your child up.

Havelock Activity Clubs

At Havelock Primary School we have several interesting lunchtime and after school clubs that are run by our dedicated staff at Havelock. They offer a variety of clubs to enrich your child’s education that run each term such as Football, Reading, Art and Dance.

Clubs can happen at lunchtime or after school from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm once a week on Monday to Friday.

At the start of each term, a club list goes to parents and children. You can decide with your child which one they would like to go to and have them give their form to their teacher. Teachers try to give all children an opportunity of attending a club. Your child will then be given a slip to confirm their place in the club.
